All About GradsCongratulations Graduate Elsa MusselmanLSubmitted By Yvette Perkinsauren Marie Perkins is a Senior at Ronald Reagan High School and was blessed to have receivedmultiple scholarship offers from several prestigious universities. She has decided to attend Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in the fall, where she will pursue an undergraduate degree in Political Science. She will then continue to law school and has desires to help those who are underrepresented. Lauren was also selected as a John B. Ervin Scholar and received a four-year scholarship.Lauren has always set the bar high for herself and exceeded expectations every time. She has participated in speech and debate and has a passion and love for theater. Lauren has been in the theater program at Lopez middle school and at Reagan High School. You may have seen her in Reagan High School’s Romeo & Juliet as “Juliet,” and she’s had various roles in other past performances.Over the years she’s won awards in National History Day contests, various writing, and literature contests along with speech and debate competitions. Her leadership skills are also evident as she’s held positions on the Student Council, as a Class Officer and leadership positions in various clubs and organizations. Lauren is also a member of The National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, Chinese Honor Society, Chinese Club andSE lsa Musselman, graduating Johnson High School, plans to attend and swim for Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She will be studying Biomedical Sciences.Elsa has distinguished herself as an accomplished student and a valuable teammate. As a well-traveled military child, she has lived from sea-to-shining-sea (both Connecticut and Alaska) and border-to- border (North Dakota and Texas) where she has experienced new schools, friends, and cultures. She is in NHS and a summa grad, demonstrating excellence in her academics. While at Reagan, Jake participatedin the Paws Cause Club and the Robotics Club before starting work at his part time job at Whataburger.He was able to balance work with a challenging load of dual credit and AP classes and maintain a stellar GPA. Jake recently received the Texas Classroom Teachers Association scholarship to help further his education. He plans on attending San Antonio College for his Associates degree and then transferring to UTSA to earn a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. Westlund received a unanimous perfect score and leadership honor at the International Thespians competition and will graduate Summa Cum Laude. Her choir accolades include TMEA All State Choir as well as a second-place award at NATS.Texas Christian University awarded Cassie a tuition scholarship in addition various merit scholarships to study vocalSubmitted By Kelli Pruiettassie Westlund has loved the stage since she was a little girl.Her passion for music and theatreI’d like to recognize Kallette Pruiett who is a 2022 Senior at Reagan High School. She is the youngestof 3 and never ceases to amaze us.Her focused determination, honest optimistic attitude, and infectious sense of humor are just a few things that make her shine. Her Senior year both of her grandfathers passed away from a long fight with cancer. She continued to keep her GPA at 4.0 while becoming a lead employee at Chick-fil-A and got accepted to every college she applied to.
