  HJello Community,
une is here and it’s time to celebrate our dads in recognition of Father’s Day and our grads
moving on to college and careers! In this month’s issue, we are sharing submissions sent to us about your dads; how much you love them and what they mean to you and your family. Take a moment to read these submissions and reflect on what your dad means to your on page 6.
Fathers undoubtedly leave an imprint on our lives. Some of us are lucky to have close relationships with our dads, while others may have looked to another father figure to help fill the role of dad in their lives. It was my grandfather who was my father figure.
My grandfather encouraged me when times were tough to keep going forward and congratulated me in my victories. He was one I could go to for advice. I enjoyed spending time with him and I knew he was interested in what was going on in my life. He was kind and gentle, yet firm. He encouraged me to work hard and pursue my dreams. Even though my grandfather has passed away, the love he gave me and the memories we made have stayed in my heart and helped form me into the person I am today. I adored my grandfather and miss him dearly. I am grateful to have had a positive father figure in my life.
Grandpa, Grandson & Dad.
My husband, Ronnie, remembers his father’s love of music and singing. Ronnie was greatly influenced by his dad’s passion for music and learned to play guitar because of him. He bought Ronnie his first amp and guitar at 16 years of age. After his dad died, Ronnie kept his favorite guitar as a keepsake to remind him of his father. When holding that guitar, Ronnie can smile at the memories he has of his father’s playing and singing days.
Fathers truly impact our lives in many ways. We would like to wish every father, grandfather, and father figure a very special day this Father’s Day!
Also, we would like to congratulate the Class of 2021! Whether you are graduating
from high school or college, we wish you much success in your future endeavors. We are sure dad is proud of you, too!
